Federal Minister for KA&GB Ch. Muhammad Barjees Tahir visits Palandri AJK

PALANDRI, Nov 11 (APP): Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Chaudhry Berjees Tahir Monday said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif won the hearts of Kashmiri people by raising Kashmir dispute in General Assembly of the UN. He was addressing a public gathering here on the 52nd death anniversary of Col. Khan Muhammad Khan. The Minister expressed hope that the Kashmir issue would be resolved in near future according to the UN aspirations of Kashmiris and UN resolutions. Ch. Muhammad Berjees Tahir said the PML-N would take all possible steps to resolve the issues of Kashmiri people as the demands of the latter were the part of the former's manifesto. He said India itself had took up the Kashmir issue in the UN and now was not following its resolutions.

Earlier, the Minister laid foundation stone of 33 kilometers long road from Palandri to Terar Khal which would cost Rs. 520 million and would be completed in two year period. Ch. Muhammad Berjees Tahir also offered "Fateha" at the shrine of Col. Khan Muhammad Khan.
