Federal Minister for KA & GB Ch. M Barjees Tahir optimistic of progress in dialogue process

 ISLAMABAD, Nov 8 (APP): Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Chaudhry Barjees Tahir Friday said the government believed in talks process and expressed hope that Taliban will also support the dialogue for ensuring peace. Addressing the ‘Nankana Bar’, he said the government had clear stance on the issue of drone attacks and condemned these attacks on every forum, said a press release issued here. He said that all the political parties were on the same page that dialogue is the only way for maintaining peace in the country. He said United States has tried to sabotage the dialogue process with a drone attack and Taliban should understand that US was against the peace and dialogue process.

Barjees was of the view that if Taliban suspends the dialogue process it would ultimately make enemy’s conspiracy successful.
He appreciated the role of lawyer community for strengthening the democracy.
The Minister also announced to establish a cafeteria and library in Nankana Bar and inaugurated the Bar room.
