Solidarity day, on 5th February 2014, will be observed with full zeal and zest

 Chaudhary Muhammad Barjees Tahir, Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs & Gilgit-Baltistan has said that solidarity day, on 5th February 2014, will be observed with full zeal and zest. We want to give a message to the whole world that India cannot engulf the territory of Kashmir so easily. He said this while chairing a meeting to review arrangements for solidarity day to be observed on 5th of February 2014.

 A high level meeting was held in ministry of Kashmir affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan in which representatives of Ministries of Interior, Foreign, Defense, Information, all four provinces, government of AJK, AJ&K Council, government of Gilgit-Baltistan, Arts Councils, utility stores corporation and PTV participated. While chairing the meeting, Federal Minister said that Indian illegal occupation in Jammu and Kashmir was not only a mockery of international law but also a blow to the face of international conscience. This is why our government and people of Pakistan observe this day to show with their solidarity with Kashmiri brothers. He directed all the concerned departments to leave no stone unturned to make this event a success so that the conscience of international community could be jolted by their message.

y PML-N Government had taken strict measures to control corruption in the country. Improvement of transparency index of Pakistan by Transparency International was a proof of their six months’ progress towards ending corrupt practices. “We have given priority to transparency in Youth Business loan Scheme and there is no ministerial Quota in the said scheme. All the loans will be delivered on merit. Unless we deal with corruption, we cannot achieve Pakistan which was envisioned by the Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
