Unless we deal with corruption, we cannot achieve Pakistan which was envisioned by the Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

Chaudhary Muhammad Barjees Tahir, Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs & Gilgit-Baltistan has said that despite Musarraf broken constitution of this country twice, some people say he must not be tried to avoid opening of Pandora Box. Former military dictator was maddened by the power he grabbed illegally and declared himself as commando. Musharraf wants his accomplices to be arrested also but we have left the matter on courts, which are free. He said this while addressing a seminar to commemorate the services to Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah arranged by the Muslim Institute.

            Federal Minister said that this country came into being as a result of a political and constitutional struggle and the talk of sparing Musharraf is nothing but madness. While paying homage to Father of Nation he said that Best way to pay tribute to any leader is that we promote his ideas and transfer them to the next generation.  

He said that corruption was the biggest problem of the day for Pakistan that is why PML-N Government had taken strict measures to control corruption in the country. Improvement of transparency index of Pakistan by Transparency International was a proof of their six months’ progress towards ending corrupt practices. “We have given priority to transparency in Youth Business loan Scheme and there is no ministerial Quota in the said scheme. All the loans will be delivered on merit. Unless we deal with corruption, we cannot achieve Pakistan which was envisioned by the Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
