We are working on a plan to develop indigenous resources in GB to achieve intensive growth

Chaudhary Muhammad Barjees Tahir, Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs & Gilgit-Baltistan has said that their government is working to develop indigenous resources in the province of Gilgit Baltistan for intensive growth and development of the region. Building of new mega-projects will open new horizons of prosperity in the province. He said this while talking to the members of the cabinet of Gilgit-Baltistan province.

Member of the cabinet of Gilgit-Baltistan called on Federal Minister in his office today on Wednesday to convey problems faced by the people of the province. Ch Muhammad Barjees Tahir apprised the delegation about the recent developments on newly opened passport office in Chillas and increasing the flights of PIA in Sakardu and Gilgit. He told them that President of Pakistan himself took a keen interest and issued directives to respective departments in order to expedite the process of resolution of their problems. Federal Minister praised the unity demonstrated by the GB Assembly despite cultural, religious, political and linguistic diversity. Federal minister said that there was need of the hour that people of Pakistan get united to work for the development of the motherland.
