Peace talks are sabotaged whenever there is a progress: Ch Muhammad Barjees Tahir

February 18, 2014

Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, Ch Muhammad Barjees Tahir, has said that peace talks are sabotaged whenever there is a positive development. Attack on security forces in Karachi is sad and such events are meant to derail peace process. Government is willing for talks to those who like to talk otherwise there are certain other options available for the government. He said this while talking to a delegation of women.

A delegation of Pakistan Muslim League (N) women wing from Gilgit-Baltistan called on Federal Minister in his office and apprised the minister about the problems faced by women in GB. Federal Minister Said that women constitute half of the total population and they must play their part in development of the country. He said that women could play a vital role in containing extremism and religious polarization in Pakistan. Those societies, where  women are dormant can never achieve the nation goals.
