Talks only with those who accept Constitution:Barjees Tahir

Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs Barjees Tahir has said that negotiation would not be held with those factions of Taliban who do not accept the supremacy of the Constitution of Pakistan.
He said that those challenging the writ of government would be dealt with sternly, adding that without peace, economic stability could not be ensured. Talking to the media, he said that although operation in Fata and Northern region has not yet been started, the terrorists had been effectively contained by the security forces.
To a question, he said that the National Security Policy had been formulated and it would be implemented in letter and spirit for integrity and solidarity of the country to strictly enforce Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
However, those wanted peaceful condition for the stability of the country would be taken into confidence. He said that the present government was striving for economic stability by inviting investment from inside and outside the country which could only be attained when there would be peaceful and conducive environment in the country. He said that the government was planning to start motorway project from Khanjrab to Gawadar, which would go a long way in the economic growth of the country.
In this connection Chinese engineers would shortly visit Pakistan to implement the project. He regretted the accusation made by MNA Jamshaid Dasti against his fellows residing in Parliament Lodges for their immoral activities. He particularly referred to indecent language used by him and declared it most unfortunate and deplorable.
WOMEN’S DAY: International Women Day would be observed in Hafizabad on 8th and special function including speeches, seminars and other related functions would be held from March 3 to 5.
In this connection, Safeena Siddique, Additional District Collector, held a meeting. She said that Minister of State Saira Afzal Tarar and DCO Mansoor Qadir would be prominent among the speakers who would address the gatherings in the Jinnah Hal Hafizabad from March 3 to 5.
