Pakistan committed to strengthen ties with India:Ch. Muhammad Barjees Tahir

Minister for Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Affairs Barjees Tahir has said Pakistan committed to strengthen its ties with India for sustainable peace in the region.




According to the sources, while talking to journalists in Lahore, he said Pakistan looks forward to working in constructive way with the new government in India after general elections. He said resolution of Kashmir dispute is imperative for sustainable peace in the region.

Responding to a question, he said regardless of the general perception about Bharatiya Janata Party, PML-N has a history of good working relation with BJP.

He said former Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had signed Lahore Accord to move forward for improving bilateral ties.
