Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON Engineer Amir Muqam chaired a high-level meeting on Friday

 

Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON Engieer Amir Muqam chaired a high-level meeting on Friday to review the progress and implementation of the agreement with the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Action Committee.

Senior officials from various federal ministries, including Power Division, National Health Services, Federal Education, IT and Telecom, Aviation Division, Communications, Economic Affairs Division, Finance, and Planning and Development, attended the meeting. Secretary Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and Capa Zafar Hassan, Additional Secretary Kamran Rahman Khan, and Chief Secretary Azad Jammu and Kashmir Khushhal Khan were also present.

Federal Minister Engineer Amir Muqam directed the concerned federal ministries and departments to ensure full and immediate implementation of the agreement. He said that Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has given clear instructions and is personally monitoring the implementation of the agreement.

Engineer Amir Muqam said that the next meeting will be held in Muzaffarabad soon. He said that they will give good news to the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir soon.

Senior officials briefed the meeting on the implementation status of various projects in the light of the agreement with the Action Committee.

Talking to the media later, Federal Minister Engineer Amir Muqam expressed his determination to implement the agreement. He said that the next meeting will be held in Muzaffarabad soon. He said that the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir will get good news soon. Overall, the progress made so far has been positive.

The Federal Minister said that he will ensure implementation of the points agreed upon with the Kashmir government.
